This was a very depressing story. It made me cry. How could someone just send away a child , it doesn't make sense to me. Just because someone isn't "normal" doesn't mean they aren't people. It make me upset to even think about it and how cruel it would be to one of the child sent away. I'm so happy he found her and that she was okay. Molly was one of the millions of forgotten children and I can't even start to imagine what it would be like to be institutionalized. It just makes me sick to even think about that. The only good reason I can think of to send a "retarded" child away, is if you truely don't have the money to get the meds and they would really suffer from it. If the parent truely loved her then this never would have happened. Just becuase the mother was a "perfectionist" doesn't give her the right to do that. Just becuase she couldn't handle having a "flawed" child.

i think the story was okay i mean it was really depressing in the begining i dont get why they cant just keep her at home i mean who cares if she has those disabilities she could still stay at home. but i thought it was really cool how her brother went to go find her 46 years later and he did thats so cool. so the story was okay
